Threaded Vertical Type Check Valve

Introduction
Threaded vertical check valve, also known as threaded vertical non return valve, reflux valve, one-way valve or counterbalance valve, is valve that is applied to prevent backflow of medium. This vertical check valve is also employed to stop reversal of pump and driving motor. It is mainly composed of valve body, disc and spring.

Working Principle of Threaded Check Valve
Threaded vertical check valve opens and closes automatically depending on force from media flowing. It allows medium to flow through it in only one direction, and prevents reverse direction flow. Disc will open under the pressure of forward flow fluid. When fluid flows in reverse direction, the disc will be closed by fluid pressure and dead weight so as to cut off the flow.

Attentions
1. Before installing threaded vertical check valves, please make sure no dirt is attached to valve cavity and that screw bolt is evenly screwed down.
2. When installing the valve, please ensure that the media flow direction should be consistent with the arrow direction marked on valve body.
3. When operating the valve, do not make it bear weight in pipeline. Large check valve should have independent support to ensure that threaded vertical check valve will not be affected by pressure from pipe system.
